Last week, news broke concerning a possible Fortnite and Birds of Prey collaboration. The official Fortnite Twitter account responded to a movie promotion about Birds of Prey, stating “See you soon, Harley”. This obviously sparked widespread suspicion that the two entertainment giants had agreed on a crossover to promote the new movie. Epic Games has been doing this quite often, most recently with Star Wars.

We didn’t hear much about the possible crossover until now, as leaks have surfaced from a known data-miner. According to reports, the crossover will produce a Harley Quinn skin along with some other cosmetics coming to the Item Shop.

Fortnite and Birds of Prey team up

There was little doubt that this collaboration would produce a skin of some sort. Harley Quinn’s overall design is perfect for a Fortnite skin, which only added to the suspicion. Now, we have concrete information regarding these cosmetics.

According to data-miner @ShiinaBR, the Birds of Prey crossover will begin very soon. Also, more than just a Harley Quinn skin is coming to the Fortnite Item Shop.

Shiina goes on to say that these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as all leaks should. However, the source for this information is extremely credible. So, while still not confirmed, this is most likely the closest we will get to it being official.

Getting back to the actual content of the leak: apparently, there are multiple Harley Quinn styles arriving. Along with that, two pickaxes will come to the Fortnite Item Shop as well. The expected release date for the crossover to begin is Feb. 6, with the skins releasing in the shop at 7:00 p.m. ET.

If this leak does turn out to be true, we should see some kind of teaser within the next day or two.
