Fortnite debuted its 2019 winter event yesterday with the launch of Winterfest. Set to run into the new year, Winterfest brings map changes, holiday skins, and much more. However, according to some leaks, we might be getting more than we thought. Though this is unconfirmed, leaks suggest we will be receiving a plethora of current vaulted weapons.

At the time of writing, details are unknown regarding the context in which these weapons will release. But this leak comes directly from the in-game files. More often than not, such files tell us what Epic Games is planning.

Vaulted weapons making a return in Winterfest

The introduction of Fortnite Season 2 saw a slew of weapons head to the vault. While some vaultings were welcome, others were not. Whether it be from a competitive or enjoyment standpoint, many players have at least one favorite weapon or item currently in the vault.

Well, if you do happen to be missing a favorite weapon, chances are you’ll see it again fairly soon. With yesterday’s update, data-miners managed to dig into the PC files of Fortnite and find all kinds of upcoming content. This digging led us to the rumor that certain vaulted weapons will return for Winterfest.

Fortnite vaulted weapons

The rumor/leak comes from @ShiinaBR and @Guille_GAG on Twitter. Below, you can see the rumored list of vaulted weapons making a return to Fortnite.

  • Heavy Sniper
  • Double Barrel
  • Drum Gun
  • Flint-Knock Pistol
  • Stink Bombs
  • Infantry Rifle
  • Dual Pistols
  • Tactical SMG
  • Shockwave Grenades
  • Drum Shotgun
  • Boom Bow
  • Hand Cannon
  • Suppressed SMG
  • Boogie Bomb

As we can see from the list, there are a ton of weapons supposedly coming back. Of course, some, like the Stink Bombs and Drum Shotgun, might not be welcomed back with open arms. But others, such as the Flint-Knock and Infantry Rifle, would be great for the current meta of Fortnite.

One thing to keep in mind, though: this is just a leak, not an official confirmation. We also don’t know how Epic will introduce these weapons or how long they’ll stick around. However, a solid guess would be that these weapons will only be available in a Winterfest LTM.
