The teasers for Season 5 of Apex Legends have begun, with the first clue being discovered on the World’s Edge map. We knew some kind of in-game event was happening today thanks to previous leaks. However, we didn’t know exactly what this event would be beside the fact that it would come in phases. You can read more about that information in our article from last week.

Today, the first phase has seemingly begun, with a teaser found at The Dome POI on World’s Edge. Let’s take a look at this teaser and dive into theories about what it could mean for Apex Legends.

The first Apex Legends Season 5 teaser

We’ve seen teasers for upcoming seasons in Apex Legends before. In Season 3, we saw Forge’s medallion pop up in World’s Edge, which signaled the arrival of Revenant. Of course, that wasn’t too interactable past picking up the medallion.

For Season 4, players can go physically interact with something that seems to lead into the next phase. At The Dome, you can find and pick up a phone-like device that has some interesting information on it. Data-miner @iLootGames has the exact location of the device for us.

This can be done in any match of Apex Legends as long as it takes place on World’s Edge. If you missed what the device said, another data-miner, @Shrugtal, has a close-up image that clearly shows the information.

We’re not too sure what this means yet, but we might know where it’s leading. The last line on the device says “Singh Labs,” which is the Wraith’s Labs location on Kings Canyon. So, perhaps Season 5 will bring a new addition to The Labs location? We can’t be positive until the next teaser arrives, which is reportedly April 19.

Many fans are guessing that the device will open something up that will lead to the second teaser. Another theory is that finding every device in a match – there will be three total – will trigger something on World’s Edge.

We’ll have to wait a little longer to see Respawn’s plans for Season 5 of Apex Legends. Until then, stay up to date with all news here at Daily Esports.
