Evil Geniuses have signed William “RUSH” Wierzba as the final player on their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster, the team announced on Twitter. The 27-year-old rifler is best known for being on the Cloud9 roster that won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, becoming the only North American team to ever win a Valve-sponsored major. He also reunites with former C9 teammates Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip and Timothy “autimatic” Ta.
“I’m super stoked to be joining the Counter-Strike roster for Evil Geniuses,” RUSH said in the announcement video. “Really excited to get to the bootcamp in Europe with the guys and get to work.”
Our roster is beginning to look a little…familiar.

With Stewie2K and autimatic announced earlier this week, the EG roster is now fully out in the open. Rounding out the team are Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov, who both joined in September of 2019.
RUSH was formerly on Complexity Gaming before the roster disbanded in late 2021. He became the main candidate for the final slot on EG in early 2022, replacing Valdemar “valde” Bjørn Vangså, according to 1pv.fr and Rush B Media. EG will be a new test for RUSH, who struggled to find his form on Complexity. He declined to a 0.87 HLTV rating near the end of the project. He will most likely fulfill a support role on this new iteration of EG.
Evil Geniuses are now, once again, poised to be a top North American CS:GO team. They are a permanent partner team of both BLAST and ESL, meaning the team will have plenty of opportunities to play Tier 1 matches throughout the year. Their debut will be at BLAST Spring Groups at 9:00 a.m. ET on Jan. 30.
Evil Geniuses’s 2022 roster is as follows:
Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte
Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov
Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip
Timothy “autimatic” Ta
William “RUSH” Wierzba
Damien “maLeK” Marcel (coach)
