There’s under two weeks left until the start of CDL Champs 2022 in Los Angeles, California. The eight best regular season teams will battle it out at the Galen Center for the chance to take home over $1 million in prize money as well as the champions’ crown. The anticipation for Champs this season is perhaps at an all-time high. For starters, this should be the most competitive Champs event in Call of Duty’s history if the regular season was any indication. Fans also want to see Vanguard come to an end, and that can only be done by crowning a Champs winner.

There has been a different winner at every major event this season, leaving the door wide open for any team to come in and steal the world championship. Of course, some of that is dependent on how Vanguard is treating a particular team on a specific day. Regardless of how the event could play out, fans need to know a few things before Champs begins.

CDL Champs 2022 details

This season, Champs begins on Aug. 4 and will run until Aug. 7. It takes place at the Galen Center in LA, the same location as last season.
