Version 22.30 of Fortnite is bringing another “Star Wars” crossover to Epic Games’ battle royale through Skywalker Week. This time around, new cosmetics and items are joining the game that were not present during the May the 4th celebration earlier this year.

In addition, this Star Wars crossover will add new challenges and accompanying rewards based on the Star Wars universe. Here’s everything Fortnite players and Star Wars fans need to know about Skywalker Week.

Skywalker Week cosmetics

Skywalker Week has already begun in Fortnite and will last until 9 a.m. ET on November 8. Throughout the event, players can earn XP by completing designated Quests with the new and returning “Star Wars” items.

During the event, Fortnite players can pick up new Outfits from the Item Shop. These Outfits will allow them to take on the appearance of iconic heroes from the Original Trilogy: Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo. Alongside the main Outfits, each character also has two alternate costumes.

In addition, each character has a set of accompanying accessories based on the “Star Wars” series that players can obtain. Here are the items associated with each character that players can get their hands on:

  • Luke – Training Remote Back Bling, Slugthrower Rifle Pickaxe and X-34 Landspeed Glider
  • Leia – R2-D2 Back Bling and Electrostaff Pickaxe
  • Han Solo – Millennium Falcon Back Bling and Vibro-staff Pickaxe

Skywalker Week items

While playing Fortnite during Skywalker Week, players will be able to come across Imperial Chests with special “Star Wars” items in them. The line-up of available items includes Luke’s Blue Lightsaber from “A New Hope,” Luke’s Green Lightsaber from “Return of the Jedi,” Stormtroopers’ E-11 Blaster Rifles and Junk Rifts.

All of the aforementioned items are not limited to Imperial Chests. Players can also find them on the ground or in regular Chests. They can also get their hands on E-11 Blaster Rifles by exchanging Bars. Notably, there is a chance that Junk Rifts will drop Luke’s X-34 Landspeed Glider throughout Skywalker Week.

Finally, players can also earn Darth Vader’s Lightsaber as a collectible weapon. To obtain it, players will have to defeat Darth Vader themselves. With his Lightsaber, players can block gunfire from opponents. Players can also throw it as a projectile then have it return to them like a boomerang.

The latest Fortnite update also introduced a handful of changes unrelated to Skywalker Week. For example, Chrome Punk has replaced DJ Lyka as the resident DJ and has come with several accompanying missions. In addition, the Pulse Rifle has come out of the vault for a limited time.
