The Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX) will be hosting one of its investors and partners, OverActive Media, who also oversees the Toronto Overwatch League team. The new Overwatch League team will have a prominent showing at the expo, where they will be showcasing the branding and players of the newly formed team. EGLX aims to be the largest in-person gaming event in Canada – a veritable E3 of the Great White North. As such, OverActive sees EGLX as the perfect place to reveal everything about the Toronto team.
Menashe Kestenbaum, CEO of Enthusiast Gaming, would state:
The creation of the Overwatch League is a significant milestone for the growth of the gaming industry. Esports is becoming a leading source of entertainment, not only for the gaming community but also for the entertainment industry. This news should not only be exciting for Toronto Overwatch League fans, but fans of the esport in general. When and Where
EGLX will be celebrating the events at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in the downtown Toronto core from October 26-28, 2018. You can purchase your tickets to the expo at EGLX.ca! Additionally, the Toronto Overwatch team will be holding an unveiling party on October 24th. The party will be from 6 PM to 11 PM, at Toronto’s Berkeley Church. Make sure to come out and support the team for the upcoming Overwatch League season!
