Echo players made World of Warcraft esports history as the newly-crowned champions of The Great Push Season 4 Global Finals. The team achieved a total score of 198, placing them in first place followed by Monka at 197 and Ambition at 195.
Echo’s journey to the top
Echo players climbed their way to the top by first traversing the Proving Grounds phase in The Great Push Season 4. This phase occurred near the start of August, which featured teams from three regions competing for a spot in the regional qualifiers.
After pushing keys, the top six teams of each region’s Proving Grounds phase advanced to the regional qualifiers. These matches happened over one weekend for the Americas & APAC, China and EMEA regions. The teams that placed first and second then secured a place in The Great Push Season 4 Global Finals.
The Great Push Season 4 Global Finals
When it came down to the championship weekend, Echo was among Monka, Donuts & Disbear, Ambition, Team Performance and Zhixu Gaming. All of the competitors fought boss after boss in various dungeons from Sept. 2-4, pushing keys and their limits as they sought to beat their best times.
At the end of day one, Echo topped the leaderboard with a score of 142. The team showed their prowess in the Tazavesh Streets dungeon at keystone 31 with a time of 33:01. Echo also reached level 31 within Tazavesh Gambit, Iron Docks and Lower Karazhan.
Echo players continued to do well on day two of the finals as they achieved the highest level and time in the Tazavesh Streets dungeon. This persistence earned them a score of 164. Meanwhile, Monka, Zhixu Gaming and Ambition were hot on their heels with scores of 161.
By the end of championship Sunday, Echo had a top performance in the Iron Docks dungeon alongside their already established record in the Tazavesh Streets. With a total score of 198, the players won The Great Push Season 4 Global Finals and took home the crown for Europe.

Echo and World of Warcraft esports
Echo’s win in The Great Push Season 4 Global Finals only added to the team’s decorated esports history. Back in July, the players earned the gold for the World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon International Global Finals. The WoW MDI Global Finals victory cemented Echo as the five-times champions of the tournament.
The team’s esports involvement will continue with the upcoming Xy’mox’s Charity Cache as well. This event will showcase Echo alongside Team Liquid, whose gameplay will raise funds for two non-profit organizations called Direct Relief and AbleGamers.
These World of Warcraft teams will fight against bosses as fast as they can to earn the charities a piece of the $100,000 donation pool.
The Xy’mox’s Charity Cache will go from Sept. 10-11, where both teams will head into Sepulcher of the First Ones and Castle Nathria on Twitch and YouTube.
