Renowned rapper Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus Jr. is no stranger to the world of competitive video games. He was formerly on the Board of Directors for FaZe Clan and launched a Madden tournament series called the Gangsta Gaming League.

Given his previous forays into the world of esports, several fans have wondered if the musician spends time playing games like Warzone himself. Keep reading for everything we know about whether Snoop Dogg plays Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0.

Is the D-O-Double-G in Call of Duty?

The rumors that Snoop Dogg plays Warzone likely take their origin from the fact that Snoop Dogg himself appears in multiple games in the Call of Duty series. He first appeared as a playable character in Call of Duty: Mobile in April of 2022.

Later that same month, he joined the playable line-up of both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone. In both games, he was an operator and member of the Task Force Executioners. Snoop Dogg’s character in the Call of Duty games is often depicted with a blunt, highlighting the rapper’s famous association with marijuana in real life.

For players who choose to pick the rapper as their character of choice in Warzone, his preferred weapon is the PPSh-41. It is a submachine gun that can be fired as a fully-automatic or semi-automatic weapon. Players will unlock it after reaching level 51.

Despite appearing as a playable character in Warzone, Snoop Dogg has not made any public indication that he actually plays Warzone himself. Although he had been known to stream on his now-deleted Twitch account, doggydogg20, Warzone never made it into his line-up of games to play while streaming.

Instead, Snoop Dogg was predominantly a Madden streamer. Along with sports games, Snoop Dogg listed fighting games and survival games as other genres that he enjoyed showing off on his livestream. The rapper has not publicly said whether he plays Warzone on his own time, leaving us with no definitive proof regarding whether he plays the game or not.

Some YouTube videos have circulated that appear to show Snoop Dogg rage quitting after playing Warzone. However, these clips are edited, taking footage from Snoop Dogg’s Twitch stream and adding it to unrelated gameplay footage.

The original footage comes from a stream where Snoop Dogg was playing Madden rather than Call of Duty. After a short play session, Snoop Dogg rage quit and then proceeded to leave his stream live and unattended for upwards of eight hours.
