Dazed and Confused is one of the more interesting Gigs that you can take on for Mr. Hands in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. The main premise for it is a BD shop employee, named Tool, believes he has turned into a popstar and has been kidnapped by the shop. This unfortunate result came about after Tool got his wires crossed while viewing a BD of the popstar, who he idolizes.
To get Tool back to normal in Cyberpunk 2077, you need to find some sentimental value of his.
Finding sentimental value for Tool is an optional task in Dazed and Confused that you get after texting either Victor or Judy. They tell you that finding something sentimental of Tool’s can help jog his memory and make him remember who he really is. However, the sentimental value isn’t too easy to find, and you will need to search in a specific location to find it.
Finding sentimental value for Tool in Cyberpunk 2077
There is only one spot where you can find a certain item of Tool’s that will help you complete the Dazed and Confused quest. This item is located in the glass box right next to Tool’s in the basement of the BD shop. Enter the glass box and then look on the ground to find a letter, which is the item of sentimental value you are looking for.
The letter is addressed to the popstar that Tool has turned into. You won’t be able to use the letter just yet, though, so after finding it simply follow the quest’s tasks as you normally would. Your next objective is to convince the popstar Lina to come to the BD shop to help Tool. If you convince her to help, then you can use the letter to jog Tool’s memory and make him snap out of his trance after she goes to the shop.
Without the letter, it is much more difficult to get Tool back to normal, so I highly recommend picking up the letter. Either way, though, you can complete Dazed and Confused shortly after Lina arrives at the BD shop. The quest has some funny moments, so I don’t want to mention too many specific details and spoil the ending.
