Streamers have been shooting themselves in the foot over the past few months in regards to cheating in Call of Duty, unknowingly broadcasting themselves using cheats live on stream. One recent streamer, “BBluring,” kept this trend alive while playing Call of Duty: Vanguard live on Twitch.

BBluring showed off their wall-hack cheats while playing in a tournament on GameBattles, much to the amazement of those watching. However, the viewers didn’t expect the streamer to still lose a gunfight with their cheats enabled.

BBluring and their teammate were playing in a 2v2 Search and Destroy tournament. On the map Demyansk, the streamer seemingly accidentally made his wall-hacks viewable to viewers watching their stream.

In a 1v1 with the bomb planted, BBluring attempted to hunt down the opposing player left in the round. As clear as day, viewers could see a red rectangle around where the opposing player was on the map. BBluring carefully navigated the map to get behind their opponent and began to shoot at them with their pistol.

However, in an ironic turn of events, the opposing player turned around and killed BBluring to win the round. After this happened, BBluring exclaimed that the cheats just got “turned on.” Incredibly, he followed up by saying, “I didn’t expect him to be there” when talking about why he shot his pistol at the enemy. As every viewer in the stream saw, the streamer knew exactly where that enemy was going to be.

Shortly after the clip above was posted, BBluring’s team was disqualified from the tournament and permanently banned from the GameBattles website. Hopefully, cheaters continue to get banned in Call of Duty over the coming months now that the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat is live in Vanguard.
