Reports from HLTV.org regarding the transfer of CR4ZY’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster have been confirmed. CR4ZY CEO Antonio Meic confirmed that global esports organization C0ntact Gaming has purchased their CSGO team.

C0ntact breaks into esports

C0ntact Gaming LLC is a fresh organization, one new to the CSGO scene. That said, it already owns rosters in the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League. In 2018, the Overwatch League announced the introduction of C0ntact’s OWL team, Paris Eternal, which has since added their own academy team, Eternal Academy. Meanwhile, C0ntact’s Paris Legion will make their Call of Duty debut during the inaugural season of Call of Duty World League on Jan. 24 at the Minneapolis Army.

Besides their recent involvement in gaming, little is known about C0ntact Gaming itself. While Paris Legion and Paris Eternal are active on social media, the parent organization remains quiet.

A crazy year for CR4ZY

It’s been almost eight months since the organization formerly known as Valiance rebranded into CR4ZY. At that time, they were #17 in the world rankings for CSGO. At their best, the roster peaked at #14 after reaching semi-finals at DreamHack Open Rio. Additionally, the team snagged a second-place finish at DreamHack Open Tours.

The summer of 2019 skyrocketed CR4ZY to the forefront, though, as they had a brilliant performance at the StarLadder Major. They defeated teams FURIA, NiP, and FaZe, and they were just one victory away from securing a playoff spot. As a result of the spotlight, Nemanja “nexa” Isaković and Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač moved to G2. While their departure has affected CR4ZY’s performance, it wasn’t enough to stop the team’s traction.

CR4ZY’s future

Currently, there are no rumors of a prospective roster acquisition on behalf of CR4ZY. However, Meic assures us that CSGO has not seen the last of the organization. The CEO stated that his plan for CR4ZY is to develop the organization to reach the highest standards of gaming it can.

“My first reaction was ‘there’s no way this is happening again.’ However, I also realized the opportunity for the players and decided this would be the best for them. I would never do anything to stop them from progressing in their career. We will be getting to The Major soon enough.” – Antonio Meic

At any rate, the official C0ntact roster acquired from CR4ZY is as follows:

  • Rokas “EspiranT0” Milasauskas
  • Nestor “LETN1” Tanić
  • Otto “ottoNd” Sihvo
  • Luka “emi” Vuković
  • Georgi “SHiPZ” Grigorov
  • Neil “NeiL_M” Murphy (coach)
