The British Esports Association announced that it will be at Bett 2022, which is an annual event focused on education technology. The event will take place next year between Jan. 19 and 21 at the ExCeL Centre in London.

According to the announcement, the British Esports Association will work with Bett 2022 to highlight the first-ever dedicated feature of its kind in a global education technology event.

“British Esports announces strategic partnership with @Bett_show to curate a first of its kind esports feature at Bett 2022,” the British Esports Association posted on Twitter.

In addition to an area dedicated to esports on the show floor, there will be panels showcasing the impact of esports on young individuals. Throughout Bett 2022, there will also be Rocket League matches for participants of a British Esports Student Champs tournament.

The British Esports Student Champs refer to a series of competitive gaming events created for students aged 12 and over across the United Kingdom. In addition to Rocket League, other games that the British Esports Student Champs run include Overwatch, FIFA, League of Legends and VALORANT.

By working together, the British Esports Association and Bett 2022 hope to integrate esports into the education sector. The strategic partnership will showcase the significance of esports in the development of digital skills.

As educators anticipate this event, they can continue informing themselves about esports through the Bett Esports hub.

“We are proud to be representing the esports industry in the incredible Bett show this year,” Elliot Bond, British Esports’ Head of Broadcast and Events, said. “It’s a huge opportunity for those interested in gaming to learn how education and esports can be brought together to inspire and motivate young people.”

Educators who are interested in participating in the Bett 2022 event can register for a spot now. The Bett 2022 website also has a guide that helps educations plan their visit.
