We’re heading into the home stretch of TFT Set 6.5, Neon Nights. Figuring out what to play is in the numbers thanks to aggregate data sites like MetaTFT.com, so here are the top five performing TFT 12.7 comps according to MetaTFT.com.
TFT Patch 12.7 comp: Mutant Cho’Gath
Mutant has been at the forefront of the TFT meta for the entirety of the sixth expansion. However, a forgotten champion within the trait has seen quite the revival in playability. The best performing Mutant composition on the current patch isn’t one that relies on Kai’Sa or a three-star Malazahar. Its one that relies on Cho’Gath. Tank Cho’Gath is near unstoppable with the right Mutant trait and with Cho’Gath being the best tank in the game, even a two-star Malazahar is enough to be the secondary carry.
It took some time, but Ahri has finally been able to take over the role Lux left behind when she exited TFT at the start of the TFT Neon Nights mid-set expansion. Ahri is extremely powerful in the current metagame as a classic magic damage mage. This comp plays identical to other Arcanist comps that players are familiar with, except this time it just has an Ahri as the main carry.
Sivir Scrap Strikers
The combo of Sivir and Irelia has been the most hated duo in recent weeks of the TFT meta game. Each of them in past patches have been so good that they can carry games by themselves, but after nerfs the two have decided to join forces and the power of Strikers has not skipped a beat. Sivir and Irelia are still some of the strongest champions in the game and in this composition, the tools are there for both to shine.
One of the first meta compositions in the TFT Neon Nights mid-set expansion is back in the top five due to its reliability. The comp still plays like it used to. Keep Renata Glasc alive for as long as possible while the other team slowly fades away. The insane bruiser frontline is still the best in the game at buying time.
Talon Reroll and Perfect Synergies are very similar in terms of strength on the current patch but when it comes to the mix of playrate and average placement, Perfect Synergies has the slight edge. The comp is unchanged from previous iterations which is most likely thanks to the set being so late in its life cycle. Players have already found the best carries and items for the composition. Twitch is still the main carry threat with a plethora of secondary carry choices depending on items and how early a player finds the other three-star champions.
