As players take on the “Path of Legends” storyline in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, they will stumble across a mysterious type of herb known as Herba Mystica. Each of the Titan Pokémon eat Herba Mystica in order to grow larger and more powerful.

However, this new type of item has a different kind of effect when players are able to obtain it for themselves. By completing Tera Raid Battles, players can occasionally take advantage of all the benefits these herbs have to offer. Here’s what to know about the best Tera Raids for getting Herba Mystica in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Besides their role in the story of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the primary role of Herba Mystica is as a sandwich ingredient. As with all other ingredients, these herbs have special bonuses that they can provide to trainers. In particular, Herba Mystica are particularly useful for crafting shiny sandwich recipes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

However, players can not actually get their hands on them until they unlock five-star and six-star Tera Raid Battles by completing the main story and the postgame, respectively. All five-star Tera Raids have a 10.87% chance of dropping at least one kind of Herba Mystica, with some having the chance to drop multiple kinds. Meanwhile, six-star raids have a 13.64% chance. As a result, even with the best conditions possible, it may take a bit of grinding to collect a substantial amount of Herba Mystica.
