When it comes to the worst guns in Call of Duty MW3 multiplayer, the Riveter shotgun is right up there with the likes of the Sidewinder and the TYR. While no shotgun is particularly strong, the Riveter might be the worst of the three currently in multiplayer. However, the Riveter can be a halfway decent shotgun in MW3 with the right loadout.

To see the best loadout for the Riveter in MW3, keep reading my guide below.

Best Riveter loadout in MW3

  • Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
  • Barrel: SA Draven-20 Long Barrel
  • Stock: DAV15 Light Tactical Stock
  • Ammunition: .410 Gauge Ball
  • Rear Grip: Phantom Grip

The main goal of this Riveter loadout is to increase its damage and mobility. To kick things off, I have the Bryson Improved Choke, which improves damage range and tightens the pellet spread, and the SA Draven-20 Long Barrel, further increasing damage range. Then, the .410 Gauge Ball ammunition gives you extra damage range, but it requires you to be a little more accurate with your shots since it shoots less pellets.

On the mobility side, the DAV15 Light Tactical Stock increases your overall movement speed while the Phantom Grip boosts aim down sights speed and sprint-to-fire time. I recommend aiming down sights at mid-range and hip firing at close range if you want to be as accurate as possible with this Riveter loadout.

Best Class Setup for the Riveter in MW3

To complete your Riveter loadout, you can equip these specific perks, equipment, and Field Upgrade in MW3.

  • Gloves: Quick Grip Gloves
  • Boots: Tactical Pads
  • Gear: Tac Mask/EOD Padding/Ghost T/V Camo

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex Grenade
  • Tactical: Stim

Field Upgrade

  • Dead Silence

That wraps up the best Riveter loadout in multiplayer. It won’t suddenly become the best gun in MW3 with this loadout, but it at least makes the shotgun usable and not a total hitmaker machine.
