The most adaptable and versatile champion and a new limited-time event are coming to Legends of Runeterra in the 2.1 patch and Lunar Celebration event.

Aphelios, the Weapon of the Faithful, will join the other 48 League of Legends champions along with a limited number of cards. Riot Games detailed Aphelios late last year, revealing a champion that can be upgraded in new and unique ways. As players cast spells, they gain Moon Weapons in hand. Each Moon Weapon creates even more cards in hand when cast, ensuring players constantly have a spell or two to boost Aphelios with.

As with previous events, a whole new wave of cosmetics are coming with Legends of Runeterra’s Lunar Celebration.
