Apex Legends season 4 is a mere two weeks away, with Respawn setting the date for Feb. 4. The fourth seasonal installment of Apex Legends is shaping up to be the best yet if leaks come to fruition. However, fans are getting their fill of content before another season arrives with the Grand Soiree Arcade Event. This event showcases what’s really possible in the battle royale title, giving the community a reason to be excited. Though, like usual, the fans are taking things into their hands when it comes to improving Apex Legends. One fan proves this with their idea for a new Legend system within the game that would create character-specific synergies.

Fan’s concept for a new Legend system

The Apex Legends community never disappoints, as they constantly come up with ideas to help out Respawn. We’ve seen skin concepts, gameplay ideas, and different ways to improve their favorite game. While it’s not always civil, the passion displayed by fans is admirable.

No matter what Respawn does, there will always be room for improvement in Apex Legends. Though the game is in a fairly decent state, at least from a casual perspective, one fan came up with an idea to make Apex even better. Credit to Reddit user Salm4n and @bim_pure on Twitter for this.

I’m really liking this. It would make legends selection more exiting from apexlegends

This concept is something that would greatly improve the team-play in Apex Legends. Already focused heavily on Legend interaction, a change like this would take it to the next level. For example, if one of your teammates picks a certain Legend, your choice could be a character that directly benefits from your teammate’s pick.

Respawn has been hesitant to truly mess with their Legend system that’s been in place since the beginning. However, an alteration like the one above would add another layer of strategy to Apex Legends.
