One of the top sights to see in Hogwarts Legacy is all four common rooms. These are some of the most well-designed locations in the entire game and for good reason. They’re the spots where players will spend a chunk of their time relaxing or chatting with other students. Each common room in Hogwarts Legacy is specially designed to reflect the characteristics of that specific House. For example, Slytherin features a cold and dark space to match the House’s cunning nature while Gryffindor is warm and inviting thanks to the friendliness the House is known for.
Naturally, players will want to find and visit all of the common rooms for themselves. While you can’t physically get into any other common room aside from your own House, that doesn’t mean you can’t venture out and find the location of each one for yourself. Below, you can see exactly where to find all four common rooms in Hogwarts.
Common Room locations in Hogwarts Legacy
The only common room that has a Floo Flame location on the map is that of your own. So you won’t be able to travel back and forth between all of the common rooms using Floo Flames. That said, you can find all of the common rooms if you know where to look.
Gryffindor Common Room
Let’s start with the most well-known common room. The Gryffindor common room resides in the South Wing of the castle on the east side. You need to climb some stairs and then take a right down a hallway to find the painting of the Fat Lady, which is the entrance to the common room.
Slytherin Common Room
The Slytherin common room is easily the most difficult to find in the entire castle. This is mostly because there is no door or anything to enter the common room. The door only appears for Slytherin students. However, if you want to find the relative entrance to the common room, head down to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame and continue down the staircase in front of you. Here, there will be a somewhat open area of the wall, which is where the door to the common room is located.
Hufflepuff Common Room
Hufflepuff’s common room is also near the Grand Staircase. In fact, it’s directly next to the Grand Staircase Floo Flame. At this fast travel spot, you will see a descending staircase with a giant vase in the middle of it. Head down that staircase to find the Hogwarts kitchen. At the end of the kitchen, you’ll see barrels, which are the entrance to the common room. Only Hufflepuffs can enter the common room through the barrels.
Ravenclaw Common Room
Finally, we have the easiest common room to find. The Ravenclaw common room is located near the top of the Grand Staircase. Near the top of the staircase, you’ll see a blue hallway that bears west. Follow this corridor to see the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room, which resides in the middle of Ravenclaw Tower.
